Partnership

The Implementing Best Practices (IBP) Initiative, is supported by an extensive collaborative network of over 20 Partner Agencies, committed to improving access to and quality of reproductive health care.

To give strength to the IBP Initiative the IBP partner agencies have formed a Partnership. The IBP Partner Agencies comprising the Partnership form a supportive network that  identifies evidence-based Best Practices and aims to facilitate the implementation of these practices in programs worldwid e.

All IBP Partner Agencies have agreed to collaborate and harmonize approaches in their quest to improve reproductive health services. Partners function on a cost-sharing basis and provide technical expertise to support the goals of the IBP Initiative.

The IBP Partnership was officially launched at the IBP India Intra-Country Meeting in September 2003. To date, twenty one Partner Agencies have signed a Memorandum of Understanding. Over time, membership is expected to expand to include an even wider variety of stakeholders from country programs in developing and developed countries.
