If you answered “yes” to any of these questions, then the Implementing Best Practices (IBP) Knowledge Gateway is for you!

The Knowledge Gateway is an electronic tool that helps IBP members to communicate, share, and work together more effectively. In the Knowledge Gateway you can:

  • Participate in online communities and discuss technical and programmatic issues related to your work
  • Create and manage your own community

The IBP Knowledge Gateway…

  • Allows you to participate in discussions by e-mail or online. You can decide to get e-mails when you want – immediately, or as a daily, weekly, or monthly digest.
  • Provides an online archive of discussions, documents, contacts, announcements and a calendar of events – all of which can be retrieved from any computer, at any time.

How does the Knowledge Gateway work?

Once you are a member, enter the IBP Knowledge Gateway. The Knowledge Gateway has several tabs, which represent different features of the system. They include:

myHOME
This is the first page you see when you log in. It links you to your own personal communities and displays new announcements, documents added to the GLOBAL library, your tasks, and upcoming events

GLOBAL
Everyone is a member of the GLOBAL community. The GLOBAL community library contains evidence-based tools and other resources contributed by IBP partners and other organizations.

COMMUNITIES
